Members of the congregation donated backpacks and specific items needed for life on the street. The Mustard Seed Street Ministry will distribute backpacks to needy men and women.
Photos show volunteers in the assembly line, filling the packs with toiletries, socks, hats, gloves, blankets bus tickets, coupons for Tim Hortons.
Twenty-five backpacks will be blessed at the 10:30 service Sunday December 16.
On Sunday, children from the Excellent Adventure, along with teachers and wardens, carry backpacks to the altar rail to be blessed.
They will be distributed to street people through the Mustard Seed Street Ministry in time for Christmas.
