During the Calgary Stampede: The Greatest Outdoor show on Earth, a large, non-profit festival, exhibition, and rodeo held in Calgary for 10 days in July, St. Stephen's celebrated by having a Stampede Breakfast.

At our Stampede breakfast featuring the Padre and the Cowpies (rector Brian Pearson and his backup group), Lutheran friend and pastor Stephen Hall presided over the outdoor service.

Pancakes with syrup, fresh pineapple and strawberries, tea, coffee and juice were provided for parishioners and neighbours drawn in by the music.
